Canyoning in Monte Nieddu – Adventure Among Waterfalls, Jumps, and Wild Nature in Sardinia

Once we reach the meeting point, we gear up with wetsuit, harness, and helmet, ready to dive into our canyoning adventure in Sardinia. After a technical briefing, we’ll hop into a 4×4 vehicle and head toward the starting point, deep in the wild nature of Monte Nieddu, near San Teodoro.

After a short 5-minute walk, the descent begins: the tour comes alive with jumps, rope descents, natural water slides (toboggans), and refreshing swims. This canyoning route is one of the most exciting in the area—perfect for those seeking adrenaline and a close connection with nature.

The highlight? A 22-meter rappel, right after a suspended pool hanging above a stunning panorama: wind-sculpted juniper trees, time-carved granite rocks, and the scents of Mediterranean maquis all around.

Once we’ve crossed the final pools, we take a break to relax and enjoy a snack before starting the scenic hike back to the vehicles, surrounded by the lush vegetation of the mountain.

Canyoning in Sardinia is one of the best ways to discover the island’s most authentic and hidden soul. Even just one day away from the beach will give you an experience full of excitement, nature, and adventure.
