Canyoning Faq
What is canyoning?
An outdoor activity, also suitable for children, as long as they are over 8 years old. It involves crossing a stream, with the help of technical equipment such as harnesses, helmets and wetsuits. Along the way you will walk, swim, abseil and dive, while for those who do not want to dive there is always another way to continue the route.
Is it mandatory to dive?
NO! Diving is one of the funniest parts of canyoning but they are never mandatory. There is always a valid and fun alternative way to continue.
Can my child participate in the canyoning excursion?
Of course! If he is 8 years old and if he is also in good physical condition, he does not suffer from vertigo and is a sporty child, he can participate. In most cases it is the little ones who are the best and most daring in crossing a canyon, because in them the desire to discover and play with the environment is alive more than in adults, which is why it is a perfect activity for families.
Do we need to bring food?
Yes, you will need to bring snacks, a sandwich, or if you want some dried fruit. Something comfortable that doesn't take up too much space and that if it takes hits it won't break us (no glass bottles).
Do we need to be able to get down on the rope?
No. If you have already had similar experiences, they will be useful, but the canyoning experiences we offer are generally open to anyone, even beginners. If, on the other hand, it is a question of more advanced experiences, designed specifically for a more experienced audience, it is specified in the technical sheet of the excursion.
